Karachi (Pakistan's largest city):
Karachi (Urdu: كراچى, )is the largest city in Pakistan.
It is located on the southern coast of Pakistan, in the northwest of the Indus Delta, and bordered by the Arabian Sea in the south, the Curerry River and Mariel On the plain between the rivers.
The population is about 20 million and the area is 3,527 square kilometers, of which the urban area is 1,821 square kilometers.
On December 26, 2019, it ranked 117th on the list of the top 500 global cities in 2019.

History:
Karachi was originally a small fishing village along the Indian Ocean. In 1839, the British occupied Karachi and designated it as the army headquarters. In 1843, Karachi established shipping with Multan on the upper Indus River. Since then, Karachi has become the main part of the Indus River Basin.
In 1861, Karachi established a railway to Gotri, which was extended to Multan in 1878, connecting with the Punjab railway. In 1910, the 186,000-square-foot East Wharf was completed. By 1914, Karachi had become the largest grain export port of British India at that time.
With the end of the First World War, Karachi began the development of the manufacturing and service industries. In 1924, Karachi completed the first airport-Jinnah International Airport and became one of the main airports in India. Karachi was designated as the capital of Sindh in 1936.

Karachi has a subtropical desert climate with high temperatures and little rain for most of the year. Rainfall is scarce, with an average annual rainfall of only 200 mm.
