Area :

Covering an area of 189,705 square meters, the design is unique and magnificent. The hall and courtyard of the mosque can accommodate 100,000 pilgrims and the adjacent site can accommodate 200,000 pilgrims.

 DESIGN:

The whole building is unique in design and has strong Islamic cultural characteristics. It is the largest mosque in Pakistan. The entire building complex is composed of a worship hall, minaret, courtyard square, cloister, office building, dormitory, and bathing room. The main building of the worship hall is a large-span column-free tent-like structure made of reinforced concrete. Ventilation holes are repaired on the top and four walls, resembling a honeycomb.

The arched dome is 40 meters high, and a large series of chandeliers weighing 3 tons is suspended in the center. It is assembled from nearly a hundred gold-plated tubes and is equipped with hundreds of light bulbs, which is brilliant and dazzling. The two lower arch-shaped cross concrete girders of the main hall have four ends against the base roots of the 4 lighthouses, and the four rhombic ridges are diagonally shared on the lower arch-shaped beams. The four sides of the main hall are triangular, with a clear sense of three-dimensional geometry. The main hall opens on the south, north, and east sides, and the floor is paved with granite.

In addition to the hall that can accommodate 13,000 people for worship, there is also a special worship hall for women that can accommodate more than 1,000 people. At the four corners, there is a 200-meter high minaret on each of the minarets, and the top of the spire is lightly supported by a silver crescent. The entire MOSQUE is rectangular with a square fountain in the middle, the floor is covered with white marble, and the south, north, and east sides are wide corridors and office buildings. The worship hall, together with the square and the cloister, can accommodate more than 200,000 people to worship at the same time. The temple was designed by Pakistani engineers and technicians and built using materials from that country. The magnificent white building has become the main symbol of the capital of the PAKISTAN.
