it's Hyderabad city (Sindh) | Hyderabad Pakistan | history, top places and more
Hyderabad City (Pakistan):
Hyderabad is the second-largest city in Sindh, with a population of over 6 million.
The city has one of the most interesting bazaars in the country, the Resham Gali Bazaar, which is the longest bazaar in Asia.
There are two ethnographic museums in this city that are very well arranged, one is the Sindh Provincial Museum and the other is the Sindh Museum. Both museums display excellent portraits of Sindhi culture and tribal life. This city is a transit point for travel from Karachi to Sindh. It is worth a visit to visit the ancient site of Kalhora near the city gate, the mausoleum is beautifully decorated with glazed tiles. There are also two forts from the 18th and 19th centuries that can be seen here.
The Sindh Museum has recently produced a large gallery about Shahid Benazir Bhutto, which contains a large collection of her relics, including dresses, books, award pictures and many objects.

City Historical Places for visiting are :

- Mirpurkhas & Umerkot:
This is a short jump in The Thar Desert. You drive to Mirpurkhas early in the morning, passing a green and
fertile land. In Mirpurkhas you can visit the locomotive shed where the old
steam engine was repaired and used for Mirpurkhas-Chor service. Then, we drove
through the small village to Umerkot (80 kilometers). In Umerkot, you will
visit the famous Umerkot Fortress Museum and a typical desert bazaar. You will
see several different faces and typical men's and women's outfits in the
market. Dine at a local restaurant. Return to Hyderabad in the afternoon.
- THAR DESERT :
With the exception of
Mirpurkhas, the land is severely affected by salinity and rising groundwater
levels, so after Mirpurkhas starts the desert 45 minutes later. Until you reach
Umerkot, the largest town in the Thar Desert. The market in this small town is
the most interesting when people come here from different towns in the desert
to make purchases. You can see the many gorgeous clothes of different Hindu and
Muslim tribes in the Thar Desert. The desert actually started after Umerkot.
There are several villages and towns in the east of Umelkot, but there are no
hotels. The only accommodation is to live in a village with local residents or
get tents. The camp should also be close to the village near the temple or
mosque.
